Physical Appearance: Tall, with dark hair and shifty eyes. He has muscles, but hides it beneath baggy clothes and doesn't make a show of it. He's not a body builder, but he is in shape.
Education: A former doctor. He has his MD and was also a psychologist at one point, according to the Torchwood official website. He is probably a member of MENSA.
Occupation: Doctor / Field Agent for Torchwood: Cardiff
Significant Other: None, though has dalliances with Gwen and Diane
Sexual Preference: Has had sex with both men and women in canon.
Character Biography:
History: He is very quick to lose his temper and do what he thinks needs to be done, regardless if it actually is the right thing to do. He had no qualms about shooting Jack Harkness in the head, and probably would have killed Ed Morgan on the show as well (one of the side plots), if given the chance to do so. He is also a genius who unfortunately, knows it and believes that fact alone justifies any means he uses. He's brash, quick to act without thinking, and it sometimes costs him. He is bisexual but has a preference for women. He has a penchant for casual relationships.

How Others Perceive Your Character: As a prat who knows his way around a medical lab.
Beliefs, Convictions, Morals: Does he have any? I'm sure that he does, but they're hidden away. His attitude on the show is that he doesn't have any, yet he was willing to give up everything and ruin the world by opening the time rift to get Diane back, so I think he might have some buried deep down.
Reason(s) for Escaping to Canada: It's a few months after Ianto has left, and however many months between Jack and Ianto. After the events of series one, the team tried to muddle on without him, but it's hard. Owen was a prat, he wouldn't even listen to Gwen and Tosh. He wouldn't take the reigns of leader. After some anonymous tip of a Jack sighting in the Himalaya Mountains (presumably from the Master), the team broke down and went looking for him. All they found was snow, ice, and frostbite. Owen finally got it in his head that Jack and Ianto were never coming back. So he's just leaving. Afraid of being retconned, he's running away to Canada. He doesn't want to forget Diane, or Jack, or even Ianto, go figure, or some people actually caring about him, after having such a troubled life growing up.
Their DHAs [Dreams, Hopes, and Aspirations] for Canada: For now, he doesn't have any. He wants to escape, to try and just take a little time for himself. He's a darker man than we saw on the first series of Torchwood. His travels to Canada have been by car or train, refusing to fly, and drinking himself the whole way there.
